Drilling with water is the safest and most effective way for consistent results every time. The water feed runs through the center of the core drill bit, so you are continuously ejecting the cut material and drilling a clean surface.
As the newest advancement in the TBH Pro lineup, this system builds upon our successful TBH Pro 2 system with three new features.
Water Guard Sensor
The water guard sensor indicates that your machine is experiencing a leak, with an internal sensor that triggers a signal light and an audible alarm. With this safety measure, you can react immediately and protect the machine from damage by shutting it off and drying it out.
Flooding Stop
In the previous design, a water feed pipe is held in place with a nut and collet system. If the nut holding the water pipe in position is loosely tightened or not tightened at all, it can lead to "flooding" of your machine when you turn on the water supply.
The TBH Pro 3 Drill Press now has the Flooding Stop bracket that secures the water pipe into position, regardless of whether the nut and collet are tightened, to prevent flooding.
Stainless Steel Precision Shaft
The brass center shaft has been replaced with a precision shaft made of stainless steel. This upgrade provides higher stability, durability, and longevity.

The TBH Pro 3 wet drill press retains all the successful features of the TBH Pro 2 wet drilling machine, like the Gunther Water Feed System, Gunther Alignment System, and our proprietary Sintered Diamond Core Drill Bits.
It is still built on the Proxxon drill press platform with the mechanics of the Gunther components modifying the Proxxon drilling unit. This modification results in a short distance between the chuck and the end of the drill bit, which increases drill bit stability and results in less runout and better precision.
