Limited Warranty
This warranty extends to the original end-user and may not be assigned or transferred
The term of the warranty coverage from the date of purchase is:
- 1-year (unless otherwise specified) of products and component manufactured by GDT
- 1-year (unless otherwise specified) on products manufactured by a third party such as Proxxon
- 1 year (unless otherwise specified) on service or repairs
GDT warranty is for goods proven faulty by reason of inherently defective material or inferior workmanship for 1-year from date of shipment. Faulty goods must be returned to GDT within the 1-year warranty period. Buyer will immediately notify GDT of any defects and shall properly package and return the faulty merchandise for inspection by GDT, which shall, at its option and without charge, repair or replace the goods shown to be defective.
The warranty shall not operate where goods have been subject to use beyond their normal performance specifications, negligence, physical alteration of goods, or any other misuse.
The warranty may be prorated, at the discretion of GDT, if the goods have been used excessively beyond the time of discovery of said fault.
GDT’s liability in respect of goods subject to a separate warranty by the manufacturer of same goods will be limited to the manufacturer’s own warranty terms and conditions.
Refund and Return Policy
If you are not satisfied with the product and you need to return it, please call customer service at (520) 314-9809 to obtain an RA number (Return Authorization) within 30 days of receipt of the products.
Materials returned for credit, or refund, must be in “as purchased” condition and returned within 30 days of purchase. Prior approval by GDT is required for proper credit.
There will be a 20% restocking fee less initial shipping cost for each item returned after purchase.
A written request for return of saleable items must be submitted via mail, fax, or E-mail and must include the following information: Date of purchase, product description, invoice reference number and reason for return.
A Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be issued by GDT for approved returns, and must be displayed on all packaging and return documentation. Goods without an RMA number will not be accepted and may be returned.
Non stock, custom made, discontinued or altered products are not returnable.
Cost of return shipping charges for authorized returns are to be prepaid by buyer.
Costs incurred by shipment refusal or buyer error are assumed by buyer.
Any item purchased by credit card and returned after 120 days will result in credit on customer account and will not be refunded to credit card.
Returns due to Error or Damage
If an item is shipped in error by GDT, or if an item shipped is defective (see Limited Warranty section above), no restocking fee will be charged. Such errors must be reported within 5 days of receipt of goods.
GDT will then issue a “CALL TAG” for the prepaid return to GDT.
Credit for returned merchandise will not be issued until the goods are received and inspected by GDT.
